Pricing Marketplace

15% flat. No listing fees. No exclusivity.

The Adya Marketplace is opt-in distribution for apps, agents, templates, and managed services built on Vanij. Creators set their own prices; Adya takes a flat 15% on everything sold. No tier games, no payment-processing surcharge, no year-1 lock-in.

// The principle

Why 15%, and why flat.

Most marketplaces charge 30% to creators. Some have multiple tiers depending on revenue size. Some include payment processing, some don't. We picked 15% flat because the math works at every scale - for the creator and for Adya. No surprises when you cross a threshold.

Flat 15%

One rate, every scale

$0 to $10M+ in marketplace revenue per year - same 15%. No "starter" tier that ratchets up. No volume penalty when you grow.

No listing fees

Free to publish, free to distribute

List unlimited apps, agents, and templates at no cost. No surcharge for featured placement. No mandatory ad spend. The 15% on actual sales is the only thing we charge.

No exclusivity

Sell anywhere else

Sell the same app on your own site, on GitHub, on Product Hunt, on the Adya Marketplace simultaneously. No exclusivity clause. Pricing parity is your call, not ours.

// How this compares

Adya 15% vs the platforms you already know.

Marketplace fees vary widely. Apple and Google sit at 30% (with a 15% small-business carve-out). Shopify's App Store is 0% to 20%. Stripe is payment-only. Adya's flat 15% includes payment processing.

Apple and Google rates as published in their developer programmes; the 15% small-business rate kicks in for developers earning under $1M/year and reverts to 30% above that threshold. Shopify's tiered rate ranges from 0% (first $1M) to 20%. Adya's flat 15% applies regardless of creator revenue.
// FAQ

The questions creators actually ask.

Does the 15% include payment processing?
Yes. Stripe-equivalent processing fees (typically 2.9% + $0.30) are inside the 15%. You don't see a second deduction for cards, ACH, or international payments - that's already accounted for.
Can I sell the same app on my own website too?
Yes. There's no exclusivity clause. You can sell the same app on your own site, on GitHub Marketplace, on Product Hunt, and on Adya simultaneously. Whether you maintain price parity is your call - Adya's pricing is set by you.
What about refunds and chargebacks?
Adya handles refunds and chargebacks. If a customer requests a refund within the standard 30-day window, the 15% on that transaction is reversed (you're made whole on net revenue). For chargebacks, Adya covers fraud-related disputes; service-quality disputes go through a documented review process.
Does the rate change if I make a lot or a little?
No. 15% is flat from $0 in marketplace revenue to $10M+ per year. There's no enterprise-tier ratcheting up, no volume discount carve-out for big creators, no penalty for small ones. The rate doesn't change based on how many apps you list, either.
Are there featured-placement fees or mandatory ad spend?
No. Featured placement is curated by the Adya team based on quality and customer demand - you can't pay for it. There's no mandatory ad budget, no boost-to-top toggle, no surcharge for category-page placement. The 15% is the entire fee structure.
Can I sell managed services or just apps?
Both. The marketplace supports apps (one-off or subscription), agents (subscription with usage meters), templates (one-off purchase), and managed services (retainer or project-based). Each has its own pricing model - but the 15% rate applies uniformly.
What payouts schedule do creators get?
Standard creators are paid monthly, net-30 from the close of the month (so January's revenue lands in your account around end of February). Creators above $25K/month gross can opt into weekly payouts. International creators are paid via Wise / Stripe Connect at the standard FX rates passed through.

List unlimited apps and agents at no cost. The 15% only applies when you actually make money. Most creators ship their first listing within a week of joining.
